Goumot-Labesse Limoges Porcelains     g50

Albert Goumot-Labesse was the son-in-law of Camille Tharaud and director of the Tharaud Factory. In 1948 he opened his own decorating studio and in 1954 formed Goumot-Labesse Porcelaine. From 1977 the company was Goumout/Tharaud and used a Tharaud mark; details of this change are unknown.

In 2000 R. Haviland and C. Parlon bought the Tharaud factory and formed Dynasty Porcelaine, which was liquidated in 2003.

There were and are other Goumot-Labesses involved in Limoges porcelain.
